32nd Hundred Drums Wangala Festival of the Garos will be held on 11,12 &13th of November 2010

32nd Hundred Drums Wangala Festival of the Garos will be held on 11,12 &13th of November 2010 here at Asanang,18kms  away  from Tura in West Garo Hills,Meghalaya,India. On the first day i.e 11th of November arrieval of troupes and Mese cha'a ceremony will take place, On the 12th November Sa'sat so'a ceremony  followed by the indigenous games and Rugala ceremony on the 13th November followed by 100  drums Wangala dance by the dancers from Sadolpara, Babadam, Rengsangri, Asanang, Wategre, Chidaogre, Selsela,  Baghmara, Williamnagar,  Ampatigre. Dancers and drummers  from Bangladesh, Shillong and Nagaland are expected to participate in the festival.
